Relaxing Escape resort in the Heart of Brisbane 3B 2B

Positive: Location, size of apartment. Gym. Clean. Disappointed in the view

Beautiful, comfortable and clean apartment that is welcoming. Positive: It proximity to the Brisbane Royal Hospital, beautiful apartment that makes you feel welcome and right at home. Undercover and secure parking. Negative: Everything was great, no complaints at all.

Great layout, but let down by cleanliness and impracticalities. Positive: Great balcony! Good layout with decent sized rooms to sleep 2 families with kids. Negative: The apartment presented well at first, however upon closer inspection we came to realise it was not cleaned very well, the kitchen had crumbs on the bench top and stove top, oil marks on the cabinets and drawers were not cleaned. There were also no garbage bags available for any bin, no teatowels, kitchen gloves or oven mits. Usually apartments will provide some basic kitchen supplies, however this one was quite lacking. Unfortunately all the bathroom fittings were loose, wonky or coming off. The apartment had great potential, however needed some extra care, as I think we would ace cleanliness and practicality above everything else.

Could make a really great place to stay with a few improvements and maybe someone from body corp addressing the resident Positive: Good location, good size for a group, would be good value for money with a few minor improvements, we didn’t use the pool but looks great, easy communication with the owner and easy to organise check in and check out. Negative: Property wasn’t very clean with a very strong stench of wet dirty mop when we first arrived, very simple bedding on bed (top sheet and a blanket), all other bedding in wardrobes had no covers. One bed had no bottom sheet. We got screamed at on numerous occasions by a resident in the building when we were sitting on the balcony talking (obviously not the owner of this apartments fault but it resulted in 4 unreasonable noise complaints which the managers of the building also agreed were unreasonable), dishes/cutlery/glassware in cupboards were not clean. I made the owner aware of this and I am aware he’s been having trouble with cleaners so hopefully this will improve. The pull out couches are rock solid and not suitable to sleep on.
